About Us

WODWICHEE (Welfare Organisation for Degraded Women, Infants & Children’s Enrichment & Enlightenment) is a non-profit organization working for the development and empowerment of the marginalised sections for more than 30 years. The organisation works with an influential network and advocacy programmes to build support systems for children in difficult situations, senior citizens, women, and persons with disability, unemployed youth and other needy groups. It tries to create sustainable solutions to the economic, social and health related challenges faced by underprivileged sections. WODWICHEE emphasises multifaceted programmes with holistic goals and believes in both institutional and community based interventions. Apart from these, the organisation has been carrying out significant interventions in the areas of de-addiction, youth development, disaster management etc. The organisation works with staffs and volunteers coming from diverse socio-cultural and professional backgrounds. WODWICHEE believes in absolute social inclusion and partnership for positive social change.
